I wanted to register to an internet forum  (vBulletin  software).
It  required an image verification questions (``What color is the
... on the picture?'') and a Recaptcha  human  verification.  The
former  one  was  no  problem, but the Recaptcha (one provided by
Google) required Javascript to work. So I activated JS for one of
the  Google sites, then for the next, then for a further one, un-
til I had Javascript from all Google sites allowed  ...  just  to
end up with the message:  ``Please upgrade to a supported browser
to get a reCAPTCHA challenge.'' -- This was the dead end. No  way
going  passed that with my computer. Another point where program-
mers keep me out of the digital world without necessity.
