2016-12-14 While discussing with Paedu his RSS feed, I learned something about XML's CDATA sections. I already knew the basic facts about it, but reading definitive sources [0] (as always) improved my knowledge. Within a CDATA section, only the CDEnd string is recog- nized as markup, so that left angle brackets and amper- sands may occur in their literal form; they need not (and cannot) be escaped using "<" and "&". Note the parenthesis! If I use CDATA in my RSS feed, however, I have to escape left an- gle brackets for correct interpretation. Don't know why.
