2015-08-02 Today, I moved the rest of molly's services to quagga, the new server. Mainly that were the mail related stuff. I'm happy that I finished this work, eventually. While working on the server, I removed those annoying info mes- sages that came by mail when qpsmtpd gets restarted. I manually applied this fix. [0] This is what I don't like with Debian: # This is a copy of the qpsmtpd debconf settings for use at startup time. # Please don't edit it directly -- if you need to change any of these # settings, run 'dpkg-reconfigure qpsmtpd'. These lines are from /etc/qpsmtpd/debconf-settings, which in- cludes only some config variables, which are used by the init script. Although I see the idea of such an approach like deb- conf, I personally much more prefer to edit files than navigate through menu systems. I don't want to be separated from the sources of information, instead, I want to deal with them, I want to understand, I want to be sure, I want to be right where it matters, not behind convenience gaps.
