2015-05-27 Following a spontaneous motivation, kicked of by this chapter in that book [0], I put the biographic interviews book away and started reading Ousterhout's ``Tcl and the TK Toolkit''. Then I wrote my first Tcl scripts. This step is one that I deferred since two years. Today I just started with Tcl -- not thinking too much about it, justing doing it. Some hours later, I even an- nounced to do a talk on the topic in less than two weeks. That's surely ambitious ... but that announcement motivates me now a lot! ;-) Sometimes one must trick oneself and put oneself under some pressure in order to advance. After someone stated that no one would use vi (in contrast to vim) anymore, I had to intervene. This resulted in a long post (in German), explaining why it's not so odd that I use a tradi- tional vi.
