2015-02-13 Today, I ordered Quagga, the virtual server that will replace Molly. It has six times more disk space (very useful), eight times more memory (hardly needed), and dedicated processors (less annoying). I'll move the system within the next weeks (or months?). Openhub.net is the success or ohloh.net. Currently, it is trying to keep up with the load it has to carry. [0] If this will go well? At least, this Peter Degen-Portnoy replied timely and well to my mail, concerning the delayed updates. Since weeks, I'm watching the harddisk prices. [1] They are con- stantly increasing, since the day I stated to watch for them with the plan to buy the disks some months later. I rather would have bought them right away. I need new disks for my home server (because of capacity and be- cause of age). I settled for the WD Red 3000 GB and will take a pair to build a RAID1.
