2015-01-29 Today, I composed a mail message. During the composition in vi, I invoked external commands (using `:r !foo'). Some of the external commands returned non-zero. When I wanted to send the message, eventually, whatnow complained about failed editing commands, ex- ited and ... removed the draft. *eek* The draft was fully gone! This must never happen! Mmh needs to have a clear and simple approach to how messages are stored and transferred while composition and MIMEification. The draft folder needs to become an even more fundamental concept. Some parts of mmh still don't have the draft and trash folder in mind. Maybe we should even split the trash folder in a user's trash folder and a system trash folder, the second being for tem- porary files (e.g. BCC messages). http://marmaro.de/lue/ markus schnalke
