2014-10-02 I moved yesterday's Cygwin installation to another disk. Unfor- tunately, all Unix access rights were lost on the way. All files had rights of `000' afterwards. This rendered the installation effectively useless, but not completely. The interesting fact is, that I discovered the mess when I switch to the mksh. I wasn't able to execute any program. But, the bash didn't care. it still executed files without read and execute permission. Cygnus is strange! Looks like I'd need to do a fresh installation. http://marmaro.de/lue/ markus schnalke
