2014-09-25 And more work on mmh. After I invested several hours yesterday, to become familiar with the code once again, it needs much less effort to keep moving now. :-) With Hauke I discussed about code quality and project management. It's a pleasure to see that he values the quality of code a lot. The time with him was great. Henry presented his Emacs setup to me. I know few people who use Emacs, he is one who also knows how to customize it. But it was important, that he is no vi-ignorant. He uses vi (vim, to be ex- act) as well, each editor for those tasks that it solves better. For instance, he preferes Vim's ledger-mode over Emacs'. ... Ledger, that was the other big topic. Actually, I'm searching a command line application to do online banking: Something small, with just the basic features, nothing as fat as Gnucash. Unfor- tunately, there doesn't seem to exist such a thing. Thus I'm tapped with this inefficient web interface. Ledger is in a dif- ferent category of financial software, but nontheless worth a look. http://marmaro.de/lue/ markus schnalke
