2013-01-25 Microsoft Excel 2010 has some fine features and some can even used with the keyboard. First of all, users should learn how to use the tools they use. It's a pain to see how helpless and inefficient most of them are. Most of the computer work, especially with the graphical inter- faces, is done in a fuzzy manner. People don't seem to care for exactness ... or the spend hours to manually arrange everything neatly with fuzzy input technologies. Horrible! This reminds me of the text ``On the usability of symbols'', which I have discovered lately. [0] Nonetheless, Bret Victor (the person who was criticized in the text) has precious words to share: Learning about ``for'' loops is not learning to pro- gram, any more than learning about pencils is learning to draw. [1] Furthermore, his self-description [2] is worth a look.
