In the last days, I have moved my mail setup to another  machine,
from serveme to molly.  I mainly did this with rsync:

     rsync -avz -e 'ssh -p 123' ~/Mail/ molly:Mail/

This actually is not the command line I  have  used  but  it  was
similar.   I moved the data via an USB stick because the Internet
connection between the two machines is too slow.

Today, the mail system seems to work fine again.  Yet,  there  is
one  essential  difference:  Now,  the  MUA  resides  on the same
machine that contains the MTA that is responsible  for  my  email
address.   Hence, There is no more MRA (fetchmail) involved. Thus
my pull-mail-once-a-day-only approach broke.  Now,  new  mail  is
delivered  at  once.  It  seems  as if I should take some time to
build some layer between the MDA and MUA to have  the  once-a-day
limitation back.  Currently, I'm not sure how to do this best.
