Today, I've updated my crux ports [0] and installed a set of  new
software on the new notebook.

Sound is still not working but I haven't yet given it  a  serious
try.   External  input  devices are not recognized. I haven't hat
that issue yet, so I'm a bit confused, but again, I  haven't  yet
given it a serious try.


Most of the day, I've worked on my master's thesis.  I also  used
spell(1), diction(1) and style(1).

To my surprise, new versions of GNU sort(1) don't  recognize  the
old  `+1' syntax anymore. This breaks the Heirloom tools.  I need
to install Heirloom sort(1) to run Heirloom  spell(1).   Maybe  I
should rather simply replace GNU sort(1).
