2012-05-09 Juergen sent me this link. [0] Check it out! There are truly in- teresting programs included. :-) Recently there was a discussion on debianforum.de on w3m. [1] The initial problem doesn't matter. It became interesting when `uname' proposed to use the debug option ... or maybe better not: -debug DO NOT USE A quick look into the source code revealed that the -debug switch is a no-op if not compiled with DEBUG. Hence, specifying it makes no difference for packages versions of w3m. If DEBUG is enabled, then the switch will create sevaral debug files, whose names start with ``zzz'', e.g. ``zzzproc1''. The ``DO NOT USE'' comment in the man page is bad in any case. Options that should not be used should not be present. ;-) But if the option might be useful though, then the documentation should describe how and let the user decide if he wants to use it.
