2012-03-03 I've received too much spam to accept it for a longer time, hence I reacted today. I've installed spamassassin and hooked it into qpsmptd. Let's see how the results are gonna be. A tarpit is something I consider a fine anti-spam action. I like to have one somewhen. Greylisting in contrast is a ``bigger ham- mer'', but I would consider to set it up, if necessary. Back- lists are too absolute, IMO. With mercurial, I again had a compatibility problem. This time `dotencode', which is available from version 1.7 on. Well, I do believe that good solutions are more important than compatibili- ty, in software development, but this is a bit annoying. Hmm ... This blog post [0] motiviates me to give hg-git another try. I simply don't like git -- ``Git? Igitt!'' Worked with troff macros for my master's thesis today. In short: I'm moving. :-) More on this some other time. [0] https://webkeks.org/blog/?56 http://marmaro.de/lue/ markus schnalke
