2010-06-20 My first practical test of my vi-for-nano-users approach was a success. It took about half an hour to get the novice to the point where she could edit files with vim on her own. She was curious about `G' because she saw it on the paper, so I explained it. Similar for `N'. The only commands additional to those on the paper that I explained were `a' and `I' because they are log- ical counter parts to `i' and `A'. Now I'm curious to see her advance ... Requested help with a bug related to ifupdown. After digging into the topic on my own, I think that I don't like ifupdown. It's too complex IMO.
