Rescued some treasuries.  The library at  our  university  sorted
the  two  volumes  of ``Systemprogrammierung in UNIX'' by Axel T.
Schreiner out.  Axel T. Schreiner was a  professor  here  at  Ulm
university  and  installed  one of the first Unix systems in Ger-
many.

Is it a blessing or a curse that I want what most others view  as
obsolete?


When working in old code, you realize how important  the  *right*
documentationis,  and how bad it is if you cannot ask someone who
knows waht is not documented.  Thus I'll try to have good  commit
messages in the VCS and put thoughts on the mailing list.
