2019-05-16 Rainbow Colors I wasn't playing lately, but every once in a while I had my bag nearby and thought about it. It is unquestioned that the P3, Teebird and Valkyrie are the core of my bag. It is clear that I like the Zone a lot and that it improves my game. I do like to have a second (identical) putter, for various rea- sons. So far so good. Next is the Felon: I like the disc. I can make it fly (or skip!) lines, my other discs can't. It handles high wind. And it can backup the Teebird. Still, often enough it only gets one shot (or even none at all) a round. Last is the Valk backup: The Pro Valk is out. I'm pretty sure about that now. The DX Eagle and the DX Teebird are new candi- dates. Each of them would work. Both work in different ways. (Now I understand why people say, you can pair a TB and an EG: The TB has huge HSS, whereas the EG turns but still fades. This results in different lines if you release with anny or throw a hyzer- flip.) I'm not sure which one to pick ... or both? Carry them as backups only or throw them if they would provide the best line? Or omit both of them and go without any backup for the Valk? Currently, my tendency is to carry both of them ...with the hilarious reason, that the five drivers have rainbow colors: blue Felon, green ES Teebird, yellow Valk, orange Eagle, and pur- ple DX Teebird -- How stupid is that! :-D ... especially stupid, as I now joined the ``I carry my discs in my hand'' group [0] at the DGCR forums. (Not stupid because of the rainbow colors but because of bagging (!) so many (unneces- sary) discs.)
